Students on Track Program

Friday 20 June

Returning in 2025, the Students on Track program is a Supercars educational initiative that gives students the chance to be part of one of the Territory’s largest and most exciting sporting events.

On Friday 20 June, registered Top End schools are invited to attend the betr Darwin Triple Crown at Hidden Valley for FREE. Students will be able to immerse themselves in the world of Motorsports, and engage with experts from Supercars, Trans Am, Touring Car Masters, Porsche and Combined Sedans.

A diverse program of talks, workshops will be on offer, plus exciting interactive activities with organisations like the Darwin Street Art Festival, Build Up Skate Park, Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Australian Defence Force. Students can also spread their wings in the Sports Precinct at Hidden Valley, learning new skills from local sports organisations including Tennis NT, AFLNT, NRL NT and Touch Football NT.

This is an incredible opportunity for students to see the practical applications of maths, physical education, tourism, marketing, event management, media studies and engineering, up close at a fast-paced motorsport event.

For many schools, Friday 20 June marks the last day of term before the school holidays kick off. The Students on Track program provides the ultimate day out which can be tied into regular lesson plans or can be used as a full-day excursion. Government and non-government schools are invited to participate in this exciting program.

Students are welcome to bring their own lunches to Hidden Valley. A variety of food stalls will also be operating throughout the day. Students are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle that can be refilled at one of the water refill stations around the venue.

Registrations are open until Monday 12th May. Acceptance of applications will be based on event capacity.
